Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: a gray beauty named Lottie.
Meet Lottie, the stunning gray-coated beauty with a penchant for whip cream and string toys. When she’s in play mode, get ready for some serious sprinting action! This talkative feline likes to keep you in the loop, meowing to get your attention and to make sure you’re never far from sight. Lottie is low maintenance and keeps herself clean, making her an easy addition to any household.
Lottie may have a shy side, but once you earn her trust, you’ll have a loyal companion for life. It may take some time and patience to win her over, but she’ll come around with plenty of treats and slow blinks. While she likes to be near you, she’s not one for cuddles or being smothered.
This lovely lady will thrive in an adult-only household where she can enjoy the company of her human companions without feeling overwhelmed. She tolerates other cats, but would enjoy being a solo pet. So if you’re looking for a beautiful and independent feline friend to share the day, Lottie is the perfect match for you!
