Like the living dead or those pesky poltergeists in Poltergeist II (yeah, we know the above picture is from the first Poltergeist; sue us), the Milwaukee Paranormal Conference is back! After taking 2018 off, the homegrown event of all things spooky, unexplained, and just plain weird returns September 13-14 at two new locations: Walker’s Point Music Hall and Alverno College. And yes, September 13 is a Friday the 13th.
Organized by author and occasional Milwaukee Record contributor Tea Krulos, the conference once again promises talks covering the usual: paranormal investigation, cryptozoology, UFOs, folklore, the Lake Michigan Mothman, etc. Things kick off at Walker’s Point Music Hall on the 13th with a haunted house-themed “Friday the 13th Fest.” Music will be provided by Ratbatspider, Sinister Fate, and The Illogical. Burlesque will be provided by Grindhouse Tease. Admission is $10, or $6 with a costume. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Then, on the 14th, things move to Alverno College. A host of speakers and vendors will be on hand from from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
