UPDATE: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel says “negotiations already have been opened with another potential theater operator.”

Sad news, cinema and reserving-your-seat-at-a-movie-theater-for-no-reason fans: the iPic at Bayshore Town Center in Glendale is closing. The adjoining restaurant and bowling alley are closing, too. Like, this Thursday. Boo! Here’s the press release:

iPic Entertainment will close iPic Bayshore, our first location which opened in December 2007 at Bayshore Town Center. The closing is effective Thursday, March 8, 2018.

This also includes the closing of our barbeque restaurant concept, Big Daddy’s Brew + Que, in addition to our bowling concept, Pinstrikes, which shared this property.

For guests who have purchased seats for dates after Wednesday, March 7, 2018 we will refund you the full price of those purchases, effective today. Please visit our Bayshore location or call 414-963-8779 for more information.

For any other inquiries such as redeeming member points or gift cards, please email [email protected]

We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and the Glendale community over the last decade, and invite you to visit us at our South Barrington, IL location (just 45 minutes away), or Bolingbrook, IL (1 1/2 hours away); or discover our locations in Arizona, California, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Texas, and Washington.

Warmest regards,
Sherry Yard, Chief Operation Officer

Happily, the Board Game Barrister and a Rocky Rococo remain. R.I.P. Bayshore iPic.
