Hey! Do you like arcades? Do you like bars? Do you like arcade bars? Well, you’re in luck, because Milwaukee first dedicated retro arcade bar, 1983 Arcade Bar, is set to open Thursday, December 21. Morgan and Michael Sampson are the owners of 1983, which is located in the former site of Lucille’s Piano Bar, 1110 N. Old World Third St. The business was first announced back in September. (Another arcade bar, Up-Down MKE, is expected to open in the old Comedy Cafe on Brady Street in 2018.)
A grand opening celebration will begin at 4 p.m. Twenty free tokens will be given the first 50 customers. All-night happy hours deals will include $1 off all beers, $2 off cocktails, and $3 speciality shots. Oh! All arcade games will be 25¢. YES.
