These days, Milwaukee is home to more marketplaces for local makers, artists, crafters, and creators than ever before. And that’s a great thing! With the hope that trend continues into 2026, we’re excited to let you know one of the city’s largest and longest-running maker events is coming back with more installments planned for this year.
Yesterday, Milwaukee Makers Market announced its 2026 schedule. The recurring local market—which features more than 120 area vendors annually and routinely brings in as many 1,000 people per session—will have a total of nine installments this year. It will kick off on April 12 with a “Celebrate Milwaukee” Makers Market at Discovery World to precede with Milwaukee Day. The finale will take place at Discovery World on December 20, with select other sessions slated to take place at The Ivy House and two editions at American Family Field along the way.
Though it’s not listed on the poster, there are also three pop-up markets planned. Those will take place at Milwaukee Makers Marketplace on May 29 and August 9, and a November 8 market at Prairie Springs. As always, admission is free for Milwaukee Makers Market. Each one runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can learn more about the 2025 season HERE (or by checking out the image below).
