Monday afternoon, the Milwaukee Brewers placed third baseman Travis Shaw on paternity leave and, in a corresponding roster move, promoted outfield prospect Brett Phillips to fill the vacant roster spot. Prior to today’s call-up, Phillips, 23, hit .297 with 11 home runs and 41 RBI in 49 games with the triple-A Colorado Springs Sky Sox.

Not only does Phillips’ promotion help bolster Milwaukee’s already-impressive stable of young outfielders, it also brings baseball’s best laugh to the big leagues. Last year, sports fans were introduced to the promising prospect by way of his incomparable laugh. Brighten up your Monday and prepare for many laughs to come with this collection of videos featuring Phillips doubling over, shutting one eye, and letting it rip.

The first place Brewers have been exciting and entertaining through the first two months of the season, and this will only help the fun continue.
