Northwestern Mutual Community Park at Henry Maier Festival Park Opens Saturday, March 7 for the 2026 Season
WHAT:
Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. and Northwestern Mutual, through its Foundation, are excited to announce that the Northwestern Mutual Community Park, located inside the 75-acre Henry Maier Festival Park, will open Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The Northwestern Mutual Community Park offers FREE inclusive and accessible play for children ages 2 to 12 years of age, including those who may experience various challenges.
The Northwestern Mutual Community Park will now be open Monday – Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. – dusk. The Park is also accessible to attendees of special events throughout the festival season including Summerfest, ethnic and cultural festivals, and more.
Days and times of operation are subject to the event calendar and weather – please visit MilwaukeeWorldFestival.com to view the current schedule. Free parking is available in Lot G, located south of the Henry Maier Festival Park Mid-Gate, as well as designated bike parking. No pets are allowed.

Northwestern Mutual Community Park hours are weather-dependent and may close due to rain, snow, ice, or temperatures below 32°F. Restroom facilities and drinking fountains are unavailable at this time. Visitors are encouraged to bring bottled water to stay hydrated while at play.
