Festival and Artist Submission Dates Announced
MILWAUKEE, WIS – The 7th Annual Milwaukee Fringe Festival (aka MKE Fringe) is on the horizon! Organizers of the Milwaukee Fringe Festival are excited to announce dates for the 2023 event at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, August 18th and Saturday, August 19th, 2023. The festival will accept submissions from artists of all disciplines February 15th through March 31st via the official website: www.mkefringe.com.
In its 7th year, the MKE Fringe provides local, regional, and national artists opportunities to present their work in a world-class venue, while strengthening the fabric of Milwaukee’s arts-going community. The in-person event will utilize the Marcus Center’s Todd Wehr Theater, Peck Pavilion, and surrounding outdoor areas.
Submissions for the 2023 MKE Fringe will be accepted from a variety of disciplines including (but not limited to) theater, dance, music, comedy, and visual arts. The submission form will be live at www.mkefringe.com February 15th through March 31st, 2023. There is a $20 submission fee for all artists applying to be in the festival.
Artists of any and all disciplines are encouraged to submit proposals of what they envision for their MKE Fringe show, along with examples of past work. Submissions will be reviewed by the MKE Fringe Team. Accepted performances will be assigned a performance slot in the Milwaukee Fringe Festival.

Milwaukee Fringe Festival is presented under the direction of John Schneider, produced by Karen Raymond and Katie Rhyme, and is a collaborative work with additional local arts advocates. The festival is produced under Nice Plays, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
