Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. offers community more ways to enjoy Henry Maier Festival Park in September
WHAT:
Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. (MWF) is extending the 2023 season by offering the community more ways to access the lakefront including the addition of a temporary beer & cocktail garden and the Northwestern Mutual Community Park.
The area will be family friendly, including four-legged friends, and will feature live acoustic music, draft cocktails, domestic and craft beer, outdoor games, and plenty of seating at picnic tables. It will be open select Fridays and Saturdays in September, starting on September 8, 2023. Free convenient parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, in lots located near the Mid Gate entrance.
The Northwestern Mutual Community Park will also be open during the beer & cocktail garden hours, offering inclusive and accessible play for children. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new or gently used children’s book and place it in the donation box at the Northwestern Mutual Community Park. All books collected will be donated to Next Door Foundation’s Books for Kids program.
The menu at the beer & cocktail garden will feature various domestic and craft beers including Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy, Terrapin, Miller Lite, Miller High Life, various Vizzy flavors, Topo Chico, Lakefront Oktoberfest and Hazy Rabbit. Draft cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available, along with assorted snacks.

*September 23 – 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. – stop by while enjoying the 10th anniversary of Fromm Petfest
