Friends of the Domes Announces Fall Events at the Mitchell Park Domes
Milwaukee, Wis., August 10, 2023 – Friends of the Domes is pleased to announce an exciting lineup of fall events at the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory (The Domes).
Annual Educational Symposium: The Friends of the Domes’ Second Annual Symposium will focus on safe water challenges facing the State of Wisconsin. Speakers include media personality and gardening expert, Melinda Myers, along with thought leaders from Midwest Environmental Advocates, Sweet Water and Milwaukee Riverkeeper. Multiple educational sessions along with a reception are included with admissions.

Wisconsin Orchid Society Show and Sale: Now in its 42nd year, the Wisconsin Orchid Society Show, Fall in Love with Orchids, will return to the lobby of The Domes. In addition to the many orchids on display, the event includes educational demonstrations about the conservation and care of orchids.
• When: Saturday, September 16, 2023, 9:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. and Sunday, September 17, 2023, 9:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.

Grooving Under Glass: Grooving Under Glass is an event for adults 21 and older featuring The BriTins, a Beatles tribute band, as well as cocktails and other local musicians. Food available for purchase courtesy of Uncle Wolfie’s Breakfast Tavern. Tickets include access to all three domes and one drink ticket.

Día De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Celebration: The Domes will once again host a community celebration in honor of the Día de los Muertos holiday. The event includes local food vendors, artists, music and dance performances.
