Falcon Flea & the Riverwest Co-Op are Having a Block Party

Live music and an expanded flea market will take over Fratney Street between the two businesses on Sunday, June 25th from 11am-5pm, with food, performances from 1-5pm, and featuring goods from over 40 vendors including handmade wares, art, and vintage.

Falcon Flea continues its monthly series with an expanded market in partnership with the Riverwest Co-Op and their much-loved Sidewalk Sessions. Since launching late last year the Riverwest-based market has become a showcase of local small businesses and goods. “Every call for vendors has left us blown away by the talent, innovation, and diversity of this city,” says Renée Le Mieux, one of the Falcon Flea organizers. “We’re grateful that the larger footprint of this market allows us to bring more of those exceptional vendors to the heart of the community. Planning ways to enrich the Block Party with music and food alongside the amazing RW Co-Op has, quite frankly, been the bee’s knees.”

The Sidewalk Sessions line up hosted by Shell Bell features Maximiano, Charle & Ducky of Scam Likely, Casey Ulbert, & Max Niemann of Diet Lite. Vintage goods & clothing, handmade jewelry, art & prints, hand dyed yarn, local health & beauty products, and ceramic goods are just some of the offerings from the over 40 vendors attending, including:

Altered State Studio, Angelic Rage Co., Anna Ellie Art, Boho Designs by Katya, Cottonmouth Cotton Candy, East Side Jawnz, Fabor Manor, Girl of the 21st, Hanna Milos Art, IV I IV Ceramics, Jans Journeys Vintage, Jungle Gems, Juze Thrift, Keeping the Khemistry, KR the Label, Kreme Vintage, Naudiir Art, Made in Joon, Molly Makes, Moose Vintage, No Good Vintage, Norby Frost, Locals Only Vintage, Lost Gens, Ok, DAD Printmaking, Paige Hearts U, Polished Embroidery, Raising Sons, Ramblin’ Folk, Rust and Bones, Sandhill Goods, Scaredycat Prints, Shangrila Vintage, Silly Goose Vintage, Stitch Stuff Yarn, Tae Brown Beauty x Alexia’s Healing Chamber, To Hell & Back, Weezard Prints, and Zuluirierain.

The event is not weather contingent, with indoor areas including vendors in the Falcon Bowl Ballroom, with their bar and RW Co-Op open for business, while Drew gets us ready (ready), ready for the rain or shine.
