Can you feel it in the air? Milwaukee’s festival season officially kicks off this weekend with the return of PrideFest Milwaukee 2016. June 10-12, the Henry Maier Festival Grounds will be abuzz with music, comedy, dancing, drag, and fun provided by both local and national talent. Though Milwaukee’s Pride festivities are among the longest-running and largest-scale in the country, the event still remains a mystery to some locals.

On The Record host Tyler Maas was joined by Yeah, Bro! Podcast host, ComedySportz improviser, and proud “gay sherpa” Jacob Bach to discuss this year’s PrideFest, what to expect at the Yeah, Bro! LIVE show, and the significance June (which is National Pride Month) has in the LGBTQ+ community. The pair also run down the acts they’re excited to see, many of which are part of the Milwaukee Record Stage lineup.
