Even though we’re still technically in the finals days of winter, dozens of local festivals and recurring music series taking place in late spring and summer have already either posted their dates or, in some cases, released their entire lineup. Evidently, one we missed in that massive first wave of announcements was Milwaukee Noise Fest.
Since 2006, Milwaukee Noise Fest has served as an annual celebration of electronic, experimental, avant garde, and well, noise music made by musicians in Milwaukee and beyond. Some previous installments have taken place at The Borg Ward (R.I.P.) and The Miramar Theatre. This year’s edition will happen at Cactus Club on Wednesday, June 5. Though a start time hasn’t been announced yet and tickets aren’t yet on sale, the lineup—which includes some of Milwaukee and Madison’s most noted names in the realm of noise—has been posted.
