Every Wednesday at noon, Ryan Schleicher, Evan Rytlewski, and Matt Wild take to the WMSE airwaves to discuss all things Milwaukee. This half-hour fun-fest is called The Disclaimer, so named because none of the oft-ridiculous views expressed on the show necessarily reflect the views of the hosts’ employers. Milwaukee music, Milwaukee art, Milwaukee events, and D.I.Y. lawn care tips are frequently discussed—and rarely agreed upon. The Disclaimer: Talk radio for the sane.

Roughly 300 heavily intoxicated country fans were ejected from a Kenny Chesney/Jason Aldean show at Lambeau Field over the weekend, resulting in a figurative (and in some cases literal) shit show. The debauched concert garnered plenty of sneering media coverage—thanks in no small part to published police calls of fans pooping themselves—but was it deserved? Ryan, Evan, and Matt ponder the show in all its cowboy-hat-and-puka-shell-necklace glory, wonder if things would have been different if it would have been anything but a country show, and wonder if even wondering if things would have been different if it would have been anything but a country is even worth it. Next, Evan walks the group through the story of Taylor Swift successfully taking on Apple Music for not paying artists for its upcoming three-month trial, and Matt realizes he’s the only one who likes Spotify.
