Hey! It’s Summerfest! Fun! From June 29-July 3, and July 5-July 10, the 49th annual Big Gig will fill the sprawling Henry Maier Festival Park with hundreds of thousands of attendees, hundreds of musical acts, hundreds of wild and wooly food items, and at least one 4 p.m. matinee show from Blue Oyster Cult. You know the rest: picnic table dancing, cover bands, questionable fashion choices, the Sky Glider, trying not to walk under the Sky Glider for fear of people on the Sky Glider spitting on you, etc.

Oh, and “Weird Al”! Yes, motherfucking “Weird Al” Yankovic will perform at the Uline Warehouse tonight at 10 p.m. (preceded by Milwaukee’s own The Fatty Acids at 8 p.m.). It’ll be Al’s second Summerfest gig in as many years, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Will he play a handful of wacky songs from his hit 2014 album Mandatory Fun? (Yes.) Will he play a medley of his old tunes? (Uh huh.) Will he close with “Yoda” and “The Saga Begins”? (Yep.) Will he look within himself, smile on his diehard fans, and finally play “The Biggest Ball Of Twine In Minnesota” from the criminally underrated UHF soundtrack? (PLEASE.)

So yeah: In honor of Summerfest 2016’s opening day, here are a bunch of videos of “Weird Al” playing Summerfest. Dare to be stupid.
