In the midst of election season, 88Nine has unveiled its ballot for the 2014 Radio Milwaukee Music Awards. Between now and November 23, listeners can cast their votes for a handful of local music awards such as Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Solo Artist Of The Year, Music Video Of The Year, Album Art Of The Year, and more. Winners will be named at an awards ceremony at the station’s Walker’s Point studio Thursday, December 4. Musical acts including GGOOLLDD and The Delta Routine will perform at the awards show.
With a flurry of “Best Of” lists on the way between now and year’s end, this presents an opportunity for local music listeners to help talented Milwaukee musicians get some well-deserved attention for the work they’ve put in this year.
