While there won’t be any in-person block parties or festivals happening in Milwaukee this year, the folks at Bublr Bikes have put together one heck of a virtual event. On Saturday, August 22, the Milwaukee bike rental business will bring viewers an eclectic and impressive lineup of local artists together for an event they’re calling “Bublr Bash.” The event—which will be streamed on Bublr’s YouTube, Facebook Live, and Twitch accounts—will kick off at 5 p.m. that evening and run until 9 p.m.
Bublr Bash will be feature performances by the following Milwaukee artists (listed opener to headliner):
Rio Lanza
Yogie B & Keez
Sleeper Sound
Immortal Girlfriend
SistaStrings
Amanda Huff
Vincent Van Great & Ninja Sauce
Not only will Vincent Van Great headline the event, there will also be a winner named during the festival for Bublr’s contest to design the next Vincent Van Great bike design. Check out full rules and list of prizes here. Though, it doesn’t hold a candle to a real life festival, Bublr Bash looks to be the next best thing during this isolated summer of 2020.
