File under “Milwaukee Finds A Way”: Zócalo Food Park, a.k.a. the city’s first food truck park, will celebrate its grand opening Saturday, July 13. Zócalo is located at 636 S. 6th Street in Walker’s Point, one block west of the former La Fuente.

“This is a BIG DEAL!” reads a Facebook post. “We are so excited to announce our grand opening THIS Saturday! See you there for allllll of this 🥯🌮🍛🍔🍦!”

Zócalo will boast food trucks from Bowl Cut (Asian rice), Fontelle’s (burgers), Mazorca Tacos (tacos, natch), and Scratch Ice Cream (ice cream, natch). All four will serve from 10:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. Ruby’s Bagels will be on hand in the morning, serving from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. According to OnMilwaukee, there’ll also be beer and cocktails, a bocce court, live entertainment, and plenty of outdoor and covered seating. Hellllll yes.
