You can always count on Ray’s Wine & Spirits for a good time. Beyond offering an astounding assortment of beverages all year long, the Wauwatosa beer and liquor retailer regularly treats customers to fun celebrations out in its parking lot. Adding to recurring “RAY-borhood” happenings like Wückfinter, the Barbecue Bash, and the occasional Scottie Pippen whiskey bottle signing is an event coming to the lot this weekend.
On Sunday, June 2, Ray’s and Iowa craft beer mainstay Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. will join forces on the “Toppling the RAY-borhood” parking lot party. From 12-6 p.m., Ray’s parking lot and parts of 89th Street and 90th Street will host a free family-friendly party that features an impressive cast of food vendors, including MKE Bento, Cocina Filipina, and Romero’s Taco Truck. DJ Fuzzy Logic will be on the ones and twos to provide the soundtrack for the day.
Oh, and there will be beer there, too! Lots and lots of beer. Toppling Goliath will have more than 20 beers available on tap, including beloved year-round staples, unique variations of TG favorites, and some barrel-aged rarities.
