Looking for a roundup of Milwaukee food and drink news? Then take a bite of our cleverly titled, bi-weekly Food/Drink Roundup! This week: new coffee shops!

• Looking for some new coffee shops? Well, check out the recently opened Discourse Coffee at Radio Milwaukee, and then read on for more…

First up is Rocafe, a coffee and sandwich shop proposed to open this spring at 1028 W. Lincoln Ave., just next to Kosciuszko Park. Owner Laura Contreras plans to offer “hot drinks including coffee, cafe de olla, hot chocolate, and more,” as well as cold drinks like “iced coffee, frappes, green juice, horchata, licuados, and jamaica.” For food, “a variety of sandwiches, paninis and tostadas, along with a large selection of desserts including mini pancakes, crepes, waffles, two types of flan, strawberries with cream, churro cheesecake, bionicos, and yogurt parfaits.” [Urban Milwaukee]

• Next is an all-day “cocktail-forward” joint called Haven Cafe, coming this spring or early summer to the NOVA apartment building at 1237 N. Van Buren St. “My goal is to make a place that can transition into all-day than just day or evening,” owner Jeffrey Kinder told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “It will be a place to get coffee and get work done that moves into happy hour later in the evening.” [Milwaukee Journal Sentinel]

• And last is Space Time Coffee, a local micro-roaster coming to the soon-to-open Sip & Purr Cat Cafe at 833 E. Brady St. Sip & Purr, you may remember, pulled up stakes from its location at Ivanhoe Place last fall. [OnMilwaukee]

• In other food/drink news, a former ramen and cocktail pop-up at Uncle Wolfie’s Breakfast Tavern, 234 E. Vine St., is becoming a permanent weekend thing. The so-called Nite Wolf menu will now be available Friday and Saturday nights from 5-9 p.m. [Milwaukee Journal Sentinel]

• Plans are afoot to transform the former Fore Milwaukee indoor golf thing at 530 N. Water St. into a dual-concept bar and restaurant. City Social Bar & Grill and The LYNQ are planned to take over the two-story downtown building, and will offer food (obviously), drinks (obviously), karaoke, live music, and more. [Milwaukee Business Journal]

• A Thai and Japanese restaurant called Room Service will open at 2159 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. this spring. The upcoming restaurant is located next to the Backyard, Todd I Believe I Can Fry, and the coming-soon EsterEv. [Urban Milwaukee]

• A Hmong buffet called ChueYee’s is planned to open at 3800 W. National Ave. this spring. [Urban Milwaukee]

• A reminder that a sushi chain called Awi Sushi is coming very soon to 755 N. Water St. in downtown Milwaukee. The spot was previously Angry Taco, a Dogg Haus, and a Bruegger’s Bagels. [Urban Milwaukee]

• And finally, MORE BOBA TEA. [Urban Milwaukee]
