If you missed last night’s screening of Death Becomes Her at Avalon Theater, we hope you had a nice time watching some other Isabella Rossellini movie instead. The screening for November is now ready to roll and…it’s going to be something. On Wednesday, November 19, join us and a roomful of disco cuties for a very special screening of The Greasy Strangler! Tickets are on sale NOW.

For the uninitiated, this 2016 tour de grease tells the story of a co-residential father and son, Ronnie and Brayden. The duo operates a small business giving dubious walking tours of the music history-based landmarks that make their community so special. However, a young lady enters the picture, creating a love triangle that threatens to destroy everything they’ve built together. Then, of course, there’s the eponymous serial killer. The whole thing is super gross, and hilarious, and scary (?), and no dogs die in it, in case you worry about that kind of thing.

The star-studded cast features Michael St. Michaels, Sky Elobar, and many other actors (?) who don’t have Wikipedia pages. And Elizabeth De Razzo, of Eastbound & Down fame! Wikipedia pages or not, everyone is perfect in this thing and you’ll absolutely love it. Or hate it. Tickets to the 7 p.m. screening are $11 and our always-amazing sponsors are Lakefront Brewery, Gruber Law Offices, and Skilos: A Family Pet Store.
