Anime fans in Milwaukee have plenty to look forward to with next week’s Anime Milwaukee convention, but the fun doesn’t stop there: Today, Avalon Atmospheric Theater & Lounge announced the return of its “Anime March” film fest. Similar to last year, Avalon will fill every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday in March (and a little of February and April) with classic anime films ranging from Hayao Miyazaki masterpieces like Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro to dystopian groundbreakers like Ghost In The Shell and “TETSUO!” “KANEDA!” Akira. Tuesday and Thursday evening screenings will be in Japanese with English subtitles, while Saturday and Sunday matinee screenings will be dubbed in English.

Tickets are $6 for each show, and can be ordered in advance (for a $1 convenience fee) by clicking on the links below.
