Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: an adoring senior named Mindy.
Meet Mindy! Are you looking for a strong-willed super smart feline bestie to match your confidence? A fiercely loyal goddess to co-rule the house? Then Mindy is a perfect match for you. Mindy decrees that she’s the only cat in residence because she doesn’t want to compete for your love and affection. She’s a beautiful nine-year-old tuxedo cat who is in search of a human to love, trust, and adore.
Mindy loves high places so she can perch in her tower and keep tabs on her kingdom. She has total FOMO and wants to see everything that is going on. She’d like to be involved if she can. Time to brush your teeth? Let Mindy help out by turning on the water in the sink so she can get the freshest H20 possible.
Mindy also loves to play—especially with wand toys and string toys—and once she’s comfortable, she loves to snuggle up by her human. She’s happy to sit next to you while you watch TV…but you may have to give her some scritches while you watch.
