Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we—with generous sponsorship from Skilos, A Family Pet Store—plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: the sweet, charming, and funny Large Marge.

Meet Large Marge. This lady is gorgeous, fun, and affectionate. Dare we say she’s perfect! Could she stand to lose a pound or two? Sure, but she loves to play and chase the wand bird around and wrestle catnip bananas. With a mindful adopter, she should be ready for beach season in no time.

Large Marge is very attentive and loves to be pet. She is sweet, funny, and charms everyone she meets. She is a joy to be around and just makes every day brighter. We think she would do well with other chill felines, and be fine with respectful children.

If you are looking for the ideal cat with a laundry list of adorable attributes and “no negative qualities” according to her foster mom, then Large Marge just might be the girl for you.
