Meet Jet Screamer! He’s a gentleman with a dramatic mustache, a thick mane, and a Jetsons-inspired name. Add in the big paws, the big ol’ tomcat head, and the solid build and you’ve got a presence.
He was a former street correspondent who was lured inside with snacks. He stayed for the amenities, but he now greets you at the door and insists on supervising all household activities. Jet is confident, curious, silly, and food motivated enough to consider for trick training. He loves interactive play and has evolved from “wand toys are suspicious” to “I SHALL DEFEAT THE SKY SNAKE.”
He adores catnip bananas, window surveillance, being near you, being beside you, being in your general orbit, and having the back of his head massaged. He is less certain about what to do with big feelings, full body pets without a little warm up, and the concept of manners.
Because Jet grew up making his own rules, he sometimes communicates with nips. Not like a villain. More like, “Excuse me, I have feedback.” It’s redirectable, and improving steadily, but he needs a cat-savvy human who understands that play, structure, and positive reinforcement will have you and him living your best lives.
We think he would do best with a confident female cat who will chase and be chased, and politely inform him when he’s being rude. Or possibly with a chill dog who doesn’t take things personally.
