Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: a bundle of energy named Jackie.
Meet Jackie! Are you ready to take a walk on the wild side? Well, Jackie is a bundle of energy. There is only one speed she travels at—zoom speed. Fun loving and carefree, she happily runs everywhere she goes.
Like any kitten, she tends to get into things she probably shouldn’t. That kitchen cabinet you left open for just a minute? She zoomed inside. That grocery bag that somehow tipped over now is a little heavier. That dryer you were putting wet clothing in? You’ve gotta check before shutting it and starting a load.
This little darling is still working on getting comfortable with new faces and is learning that arms are a safe place to be when her feet are off the ground. She’s a kitten and is gaining confidence daily.
Jackie loves other cats and would like a cat friend in her future home. Her foster home is active and has a dog. Jackie will be a great addition to any home.
