Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: brave little lady (and half of an adorable twin duo) Genoa.

Meet Genoa, one half of an adorable twin duo (see Pagosa). While Genoa and Pagosa don’t need to be adopted together, they’d love to stay as a pair. They have a special bond and as twins, they might enjoy confusing you as to who’s who! But don’t worry, their foster mom has figured out a subtle difference, and if you decide to adopt both, she’ll share the secret with you.

Genoa has naturally taken on the role of leader. She has a bit of a mischievous side. She loves to explore, while Pagosa waits to see if everything is safe. You could say Genoa is her sister’s brave guinea pig!

Affectionate and playful, Genoa adores kisses, cuddles, and playing with your fingers. But her absolute favorite? Feet! She has a bit of a foot obsession, so be careful walking around. A cute little pouncing tiger awaits. With Genoa in your life, you’ll never feel lonely. She’s the kind of kitten who brings joy and fun to any household. And if you’re looking for balance, adopting her sister Pagosa will give you a dynamic duo that entertains and distracts each other for hours on end.

Come meet Genoa (and maybe Pagosa!) to see if they’re the perfect fit for your family. They promise plenty of kisses.
