Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we—with generous sponsorship from Skilos, A Family Pet Store—plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: an orange tabby boy called Cupid.

Meet Cupid! This two-year-old orange tabby boy is equal parts playful and lovable—the best of both worlds. Cupid thrives on companionship and will happily hang out wherever you are, whether you’re working from home or relaxing on the couch. He’s especially fond of watching the world go by from a window seat or cozying up in his cat tree like the king of the castle.

Cupid is still learning that hands aren’t toys, so a family ready to redirect his playful energy with interactive toys and regular play sessions will help him shine. He’s a big fan of wet food and is more than willing to “help” during mealtimes—especially if that means getting first dibs!

One of his cutest quirks? His tail quivers when he’s extra happy or excited. It’s like his own little Cupid-approved love signal. Cupid would be a great match for an active family who can give him both playtime and affection. He’d enjoy having a feline friend to romp with, or he’d be just as happy being spoiled as your one and only. Are you ready to fall in love with Cupid?
