Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we—with generous sponsorship from Skilos, A Family Pet Store—plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: an easygoing torbie kitten called Churo.
Meet Churo, a torbie kitten with a face speckled in shades of tortie, tabby, and white—like a tiny abstract masterpiece that also happens to chase wand toys. She’s a go-with-the-flow type: playful when it’s time, chill when it’s not.

Churo isn’t a lap cat yet, but she’s taking applications for future lap privileges. For now, she’s happy to accept gentle pets, a little snuggling, and Churu treats. Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and generally more organized than your inbox, Churo just needs a patient family to let her settle in and shine.
If you’re looking for a duo, she is currently being fostered with her siblings–Chester, Cheddar, and Cheeto.
