Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: a playful pal named Arrow.
Meet Arrow! This guy is around two years old, full of energy, and has lots of love to give. His foster parents call him a firecracker because he’s always ready to play! Most of the time he’s interested in cat toys, but sometimes he mixes it up with a ponytail or your pant leg. He likes to keep things exciting.
Arrow is a sweetheart, but not afraid to tell you when he needs something, so he’d prefer people who have time for him. He likes attention and affection, and honestly, these toys aren’t going to throw themselves.
He’s on the fence about other cats. He lived with another foster cat for a bit, but there was some competition for top cat that made him nervous. He would likely do fine with a more congenial and playful cat.
Arrow is looking for a loving family that will have patience with his boisterous personality and accept him for the unique cat that he is. He’s very patiently waiting for his people, so if he sounds like your kind of friend, he’d love to meet you.
