Since starting as a passion project pivot of sorts when owner/founder Erin Kelly’s corporate position was eliminated during the pandemic, Kelly’s Greens—a business that “specializes in small batch, scratch-made cannabis infused baked goods, gummies, and beverages”—has become an unmistakable fixture at Milwaukee-area festivals, block parties, and other Cream City celebrations.
While helping to building awareness and accessibility of legal cannabis products in region, Kelly’s Greens also set down permanent roots last year with the opening of a dedicated boutique and cafe at 8932 W. North Ave. in nearby Wauwatosa. On Saturday, October 12, Kelly’s is cordially inviting you to celebrate the first anniversary of that retail store with a day full of food, live music, new product releases, and other bits of infused entertainment.
The aptly-named “Kelly’s Greens Anniversary Party” will take over the shop from 12-6 p.m. that day. Big Belly Man will DJ a set heavy in reggae cuts from 12-3 p.m. before Urban Empress & The Urbanites performs a live set from 3-5 p.m. Jamaican Door will make the trip down from Door County to sell food until it’s gone. Kelly’s will handle the beverage pairings, with a variety of drink offerings including infused tropical punch and Ting sodas, a limited edition cannabis seltzer made by Vennture Brew Co., and more. There will also be some new gummy releases and door prize giveaways.
