In case you missed it (and based on ticket sales so far, we pray you have), our annual Roast Of Milwaukee is returning to The Cooperage on Monday, September 30. The event—which is done in association with the Milwaukee Comedy Festival—will feature a stacked cast of local comedians gently (or, in some cases, viciously) making fun of our fair city while helping us raise money for Milwaukee Women’s Center in the process.

When we announced this year’s Roast, we teased the possibility of a few surprise guests dropping in to perform. Well, with the show just over two weeks away, we figured we’d reveal one surprise for you: the host. This year’s Roast Of Milwaukee will be hosted by James Groh! Groh is an award-winning multimedia journalist who has been part of the TMJ4 News family since 2019. The California native, who also worked in Buffalo prior to landing in Milwaukee, specializes in segments that are lighthearted, offbeat, and uplifting—oftentimes with a tinge of humor incorporated. We’re honored to have him emceeing the event.

Tickets to our Roast Of Milwaukee—which are limited to just 200!!!—are $18 in advance and $24 at the door. The fun starts at 7:30 p.m (doors at 6:30 p.m.). We’ll see you there!
