If you’re reading this, you survived Thanksgiving, made it past Black Friday, and successfully navigated your way through regional retailers during Small Business Saturday. It’s now Cyber Monday, a day when everyone is hellbent on selling you everything they possibly can. Typically, we post a guide to Milwaukee gifts you can buy each and every Cyber Monday, but…I don’t know. I wasn’t really feeling it this year.

Maybe it’s because there doesn’t seem to be as many local retailers partaking in this online event compared to other years. Maybe it’s because very few businesses answered my request to send me details of their Cyber Monday sales. Maybe it’s because Thanksgiving was so late this year and Cyber Monday is bumping up against a bunch of other year-end stuff we’re working on. Or maybe I’m not exactly sure what the next year (or four) holds in terms of economic stability for small businesses other than knowing it’s going to be very, very bad.

So with all that in mind, we encourage YOU to do some digging yourself and look locally when seeking Cyber Monday savings. And while you’re at it, throw some cash Milwaukee Record‘s way. After all, we’re a free local publication that’s run by two people and we’ve been at it for more than 10 years. Through the past decade-plus, we’ve written close to 12,000 articles, booked hundreds of events, raised a ton of money for deserving local charities, and pretty much haven’t come up for air since we started planning this thing in late 2013.

So if you want to support a thing you might like, rely upon, and/or feel a connection to, here are some ways you can give Milwaukee Record money this Cyber Monday (or any other time, for that matter) and get something great in return.

Order A Shirt

Did you know we have a bunch of different apparel? Well, now you do. You can represent Milwaukee Record, look good, and send some money our way by purchasing a T-shirt (or two).

Stock Up On Our Coffee

For the past 13 months, we’ve collaborated with our friends at Anodyne on a specialty Milwaukee Record Blend coffee. We helped to create it, so we’re maybe a little bit biased, but it’s awesome. And we get a few bucks from each and every bag sold. So if you’re a coffee lover, please do yourself and favor—while also supporting Milwaukee Record and Anodyne Coffee Roasters—and pick up a bag in person or buy online.

Get Our Gummies

In case you somehow haven’t heard or you, like, forgot or something, Milwaukee Record has a 69 mg Delta 8 gummy varietal made by Kind Oasis. We get a few dollars from each jar that’s sold. And if you buy our gummies the day this article comes out, you can save 40% on your order by signing up for Kind Oasis’ mailing list.

Buy Our Brandy

Wait, Milwaukee Record has its very own brandy? Yes, the fine folks at Great Lakes Distillery have produced a batch of “Milwaukee Record Brandy” and it’s limited to just 300 bottles that will ever be made. Honestly, when this single barrel release is gone, it’s gone forever. This special release brandy was made using Wisconsin-grown grapes that have been aged for two years. These 750 ml bottles of 90 proof goodness can ONLY be purchased at Great Lakes Distillery, which supplies last. There are only a few dozen left at the moment. They retail for $35, and a portion of that sum makes its way to supporting Milwaukee Record. Cheers!

Subscribe On Patreon

If you have the means and you want a little more Milwaukee Record content in your life, such as exclusive articles and podcasts, we recommend supporting us on Patreon. There’s some great Patreon-exclusive stuff on there at the $5/month and $8/month levels. There’s also a $1/month “Tip Jar” level, which we occasionally reward with exclusive things. I’ve also been kicking around the idea of starting monthly or quarterly Patreon member meet-ups at area breweries in 2025, so get on board to make sure you don’t miss learning about that as it develops.

Go To Our Events

As noted above, we produce more than 60 events annually. We either get a portion of ticket sales from those events, line up sponsors to pay us to be involved in these events, or some combination of those two things. So no matter what, you attending something we’re putting on helps Milwaukee Record immensely. Even the free stuff! Here’s just a short list of events we have coming up in the next two months.

December 5 – Milwaukee Record Halftime Show with BLAX @ Cactus Club
December 8 – Casserole Call @ Falcon Bowl
December 15 – Milwaukee Record Halftime Show with The Farwell Kings @ Cactus Club
December 18 – ‘Dumb And Dumber’ @ Avalon Theater
December 23 – Milwaukee Record Halftime Show with Ladybird @ Cactus Club
December 29 – Milwaukee Record Halftime Show with Jinksie
January 4 – N/A Day Milwaukee @ The Cooperage
January 4 or 5 – Milwaukee Record Halftime Show with Mari Mari @ Cactus Club
January 18 – N/A Day Madison @ The Bur Oak

Phew! That was a lot of shameless self-promotion, right? Thanks for reading and thanks for your continued support of Milwaukee Record. In closing, please give us some of your money.
