In 2019, Minneapolis-born Indeed Brewing Company crossed the mighty Mississippi River and put down roots in Milwaukee by opening a pilot brewery/taproom at 530 S. 2nd Street in the heart of Walker’s Point. Since then, they’ve become an integral part of the burgeoning craft beer scene here in Brew City and they’ve given their adopted home some fun parties along the way.

The fun will continue on Saturday, October 11, as Indeed Brewing will end its annual Oktoberfest festivities with a day full of tasty beer, live entertainment, food trucks, local vendors, and more. The Low Down will liven up a block of 2nd Street—between Bruce and Virginia streets—from 12-10 p.m. During that span of time, the street and the brewery itself will be host a wide range of activities. There will be a tie dye station on-site. There will be local retail vendors set up outside, and food can be procured from Ladle Lady.

Indeed will have beer available inside and outside, and any beer purchased can get the “Beer Brûlée” treatment by being caramelized with a hot fire poker. It will also be the penultimate day of Indeed’s gorgeous “UpTop” seasonal rooftop in 2025, so get those top floor views and brews in while you can.

Oh, and did we mention there will be live music? There will! WMSE’s DJ Ascot will dole out some tunes from 2-4 p.m., followed by a lineup consisting of four area acts curated by The Argo. Shush Money will take the stage at 5 p.m., then Chris Haise Band at 6 p.m., Cozy Danger at 7:30 p.m., and headliners Veaux at 9 p.m.

Congrats on six years in your second home, Indeed! Here’s to many, many more. Let’s party on Saturday, October 11.
