We’ll keep things brief because, quite honestly, we’re not 100% sure how to approach this one. The Airport Lounge (5881 S. Howell Ave.) has closed. The self-described “adult entertainment club” had occupied its airport-adjacent location since 1984.
This past Saturday, the business celebrated 42 years in operation and said goodbye with a last hurrah they called “The Final Approach.” The following day, a farewell message was posted on The Airport Lounge’s Facebook page.
“On behalf of management and staff, we would like to thank you all for celebrating The Airport Lounge’s ‘Final Approach’ with us! We are filled with nothing but gratitude for 40+ years of business. To all of you that have supported us, Cheers!”
So there you have it, readers. The Airport Lounge has made its final departure. Or it’s flown out of Milwaukee on a one-way trip. Reached its destination? Run out of runway? Eh, feel free to just fill in your own flight-based closing line for this article.
