Since 2011, Bay View Gallery Night has organized “Milwaukee’s largest annual celebration of art, local business, music, and community.” The massive late spring event brings together talented area artists and musicians, along with an eclectic mix of Milwaukee bars, restaurants and retailers for a large-scale event that has quickly become a part of the Bay View tradition. It’s free. It’s fun. It’s locally-focused.

Sadly, this spring’s Bay View Gallery Night—originally scheduled to take place Friday, May 29—has been canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Recently, organizers posted the following announcement on BVGN’s website:

“Unfortunately BVGN Spring will be canceled. We are looking forward to celebrating our 10th anniversary with you during our fall event.”

Previous fall Bay View Gallery Night installments have taken place at the end of September. With any luck (and if proper social distancing practices are followed in the meantime), that timeline might be possible.
