On Tuesday, June 4, Milwaukee’s newest arts hotel, Saint Kate, will open to the public. The long-anticipated project is a full reimagining of the former InterContinental Milwaukee hotel at 139 E Kilbourn Ave., and will boast 219 guest rooms, nearly 12,000 square feet of meeting space, a 90-seat black box theater (Arc Theatre), two full restaurants (Aria, Proof Pizza), a grand bar in the lobby (The Bar), a champagne bar (Giggly), and even a “secret restaurant” (Dark Room). Oh, and a ton of art and gallery space, of course.
