On Thursday, the U.S. women’s hockey team claimed Winter Olympics gold by defeating the Canadian team in overtime. Tomorrow morning, the American and Canadian men’s teams will have their turn to vie for gold against each other. Unlike the women’s match up, which started around 2 p.m. Milwaukee time, this highly-anticipated game will have an early morning puck drop. The neighboring nations are scheduled to face off at 7:10 a.m. local time.
Of course, anyone with access to NBC and/or Peacock can watch the game from the comfort of their own home. However, if you’re looking to watch this historic hockey game in the company of others in a public setting, your pals at Milwaukee Record have spent MINUTES scouring social media—and, yes, we also tapped into our internal Rolodex of third shift bars—to assemble a list of places that will be open during Sunday morning’s USA-Canada men’s hockey gold medal game.
Some spots are opening early specifically for the game, some are soccer bars that are temporarily devoting screen time to hockey, and a handful are places that are always open at 6 a.m. Sundays but will almost certainly turn on hockey for you. Okay, here’s the list for bars where you can watch this…heated rivalry. (If you want your bar or restaurant listed, email us or leave info in the comments and we’ll add you!)
