Milwaukee Night Market canceled due to inclement weather forecast

Vendors and activities scheduled for June 24 will be postponed to Wednesday, October 7

MILWAUKEE – Due to the inclement weather forecast for Milwaukee on June 24, tonight’s Milwaukee Night Market has been canceled. Up to an inch of rain is forecasted during event set-up and pop-up showers continue to be a threat during the event run.

“After thoughtful consideration, we have ultimately made the decision to cancel tonight’s Market due to the forecasted weather,” said Stacie Callies, Executive Director of Westown Association. “We were looking forward to opening the season with you tonight, however the forecasted conditions make it challenging to safely set-up and host a successful outdoor event. Although we are disappointed to cancel tonight’s Market, the safety of all Night Market participants is our top priority. We look forward to seeing you next on July 22!”

As a commitment to the vendors and partners that were originally scheduled to participate in the June 24 Market, Westown Association has reserved Wednesday, October 7 as a make-up date. Further details on the rescheduled date will be shared in the coming weeks.

“We know how much the Night Market means to the Milwaukee community, especially the dozens of small businesses that vend at the event. We encourage our loyal Market-goers to support these vendors by visiting their online or brick-and-mortar storefronts, or by attending other events they are participating in later this week,” said Megan Kujawa, Marketing & Events Director for Westown Association.

The vendor directory can be found at mkenightmarket.com/june-vendors with links to vendor websites and social media pages. Be sure to follow @mkenightmarket on Facebook and Instagram for more information on how to support Night Market vendors.

The remaining 2026 Markets will be held on July 22, August 19, September 16 and October 7.
