Milwaukee County to Celebrate National Voter Registration Day with Three Voter Registration Events
MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Clerk George L. Christenson and Milwaukee County Elections Director Michelle R. Hawley will join communities across the country on Tuesday, September 15, to celebrate National Voter Registration Day and help residents register to vote or update their voter registration ahead of the November 3 General Election.
The Milwaukee County Election Commission will host voter registration and election information events at three Milwaukee County locations throughout the week:
Tuesday, September 15 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Milwaukee County Courthouse Rotunda
901 N. 9th St., Milwaukee
Wednesday, September 16 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Milwaukee County Veterans Service Office
6401 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis
Thursday, September 17 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Marcia P. Coggs Health & Human Services Center
1230 W. Cherry St., Milwaukee
The events will provide residents with access to trusted election officials who can answer questions and assist with the voter registration process. Residents can also receive information about checking their registration and preparing for the upcoming election.
To participate, please bring an acceptable proof of residence document that includes the voter’s name and current residential address. The most frequently used documents include a valid Wisconsin Driver License or State ID Card, utility bill, or bank statement.
