Falcon Flea back as monthly market series in Riverwest

Falcon Flea is back for its second market, taking place in the Falcon Bowl Ballroom April 2nd from 11am-5pm, and will feature goods from over 20 vendors including handmade wares, art, and vintage.

After a successful launch in December 2022, Falcon Flea is kicking off monthly markets starting April 2nd. Organized by Milwaukee artists Andrea Dolter of To Hell and Back Vintage and Renee Le Mieux of IV I IV Ceramics, the market will provide a rotating cast of vendors while regularly bringing back crowd favorites. “We had such an outpouring of interest from our talented community, which is overflowing with artisans and gifted vintage curators,” Le Mieux states, “our goal quickly became to strike a balance between fresh products and access to your favorite vendors.” There is no location better suited for finding new-to-you vintage or hand crafted things than the Falcon Bowl. As ownership changed hands and renovations began, the building itself feels like the ultimate vintage flea market find. The historic bowling alley will be open during the event, and if you haven’t been attending the weekly dance classes in the ballroom you may get your first peek at the craftsmanship of former Milwaukeeans in the murals and architectural features recently revealed. Plus there will be a DJ.

Many attending vendors live and make work directly in the Riverwest area. The market will feature a broad spectrum of goods, from soaps and hand-dyed Ts to vintage clothing and homewares, coffee to art prints, and crystals to ceramics. The full list of vendors includes: Admit One Vintage, Alive & Fine, Alquima Holistica, Altered State Studios, Blu Mountain Co, Crochet Designs by Dem, Ella’s Cafe, IV I IV Ceramics, Jans Journeys Vintage, Katlyn Griffin Design, Locals Only Vintage, Mike B, Norby Frost, Ramblin’ Folk, Rust & Bones, Scaredycat Prints, Souvenir Regrets, Thank You Vintage, To Hell and Back, Totally Rad Vintage, Tres Ojos, Uncommon Wild, and Wormhole Studio.

Falcon Bowl is located at 801 E Clarke St in Milwaukee. The market runs April 2nd from 11am – 5pm. Admission is free. For more information follow us on Instagram @FalconFleaMKE or email Falcon Flea at [email protected]. Logo by Dale Novak.
