Cathedral Square Market holds extended season
New hours, new themes, and more ways to shop local
MILWAUKEE, Wis. (May 20, 2025) – East Town Association’s Cathedral Square Market returns to Cathedral Square Park this summer with expanded hours, additional dates and new programming, including group exercise classes and theme days. Running June 1 through October 12 (excluding July 20 for Bastille Days Festival), the weekly market will feature fresh produce, farm-to-table goods, handmade art, live music and free yoga every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“Cathedral Square Market is a Sunday tradition for the East Town community,” said Eddie Sturkey, executive director of East Town Association. “We look forward to welcoming vendors, neighbors and visitors to Cathedral Square Park.”
Theme Days
The 2025 season includes five themed markets with specialized programming and vendors:
June 15 – Father’s Day
August 3 – Pet Day
August 17 – Kids Day
September 7 – Cathedral Square Mercado (Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month)
October 12 – Fall Days
Live Music by Local Artists
Local musicians will perform each Sunday from 11:30 a.m.-1:45 p.m. The performance schedule includes:

Free Yoga and Group Exercise Classes
Start your Sunday with movement and mindfulness with yoga from 9-10 a.m. with the Wisconsin Athletic Club
Group Exercise Classes from 10:15-11 a.m. with YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee, including Zumba, Body Circuit, Tai Chi and more. A full schedule is available on East Town Association’s website.
