Every Wednesday at noon, Ryan Schleicher, Evan Rytlewski, and Matt Wild take to the WMSE airwaves to discuss all things Milwaukee. This half-hour fun-fest is called The Disclaimer, so named because none of the oft-ridiculous views expressed on the show necessarily reflect the views of the hosts’ employers. Milwaukee music, Milwaukee art, Milwaukee events, and D.I.Y. lawn care tips are frequently discussed—and rarely agreed upon. The Disclaimer: Talk radio for the sane.
Things the new Milwaukee Bucks arena will have: a name! Things it won’t have: smoking! Ryan, Evan, and Matt share their thoughts on the newly minted Fiserv Forum (Matt likes the name, Evan does not), and also discuss the smoking ban that will encompass the arena and its surrounding entertainment block. Next, everyone tries to make sense of the city’s kinda-sorta-not-really ban on Bird scooters, and worries about the impending new and technology-addled Milwaukee Public Museum. Also: Matt reads some quotes from local smokers and says “tool” a lot.
