Several big summer festivals are already in the rearview mirror, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t tons more to come—both in and outside Milwaukee proper.

For an example of the latter, behold the Waukesha Rotary BluesFest! The 18th annual shindig is set to take place (rain or shine) Friday, August 8 and Saturday, August 9 in Naga-Waukee Park (651 State Highway 83, Delafield). Vendors, food and beverage, and, of course, music will be featured. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. Music runs from 1 to 10 p.m. each day.

General admission tickets can be purchased online until August 7 for $35 plus fees (one-day) or $55 plus fees (two-day). Day-of tickets are $40 (one-day) or $65 (two-day) at the gate. One-day “Elite Experience” reserved tickets can be purchased online until August 7 for $75 plus fees; the same tickets are $85 at the gate. Get your tickets HERE.

Friday night will be headlined by Detroit legend Mitch Ryder. Saturday night, Tracy Nelson with The Jimmys will headline the fest. (Nelson is subbing for Marcia Ball, who is unable to make the show.)
