Back in 2019, Boone & Crockett—in partnership with The Cooperage, Taco Moto, and Pedal Tavern—hosted a celebration of music, food, and seasonal attire known as “Flannel Fest.” That iteration brought hundreds of people to the Harbor District bar on a brisk fall day/night to see performances by a stacked cast of Midwest musicians. We were there. It was great!

After making 2020’s edition a livestream event and taking 2021 off, Boone & Crockett brought Flannel Fest back in a live and in-person capacity last year. We’ve already told you to save the date for the 2023 installment, and as of today, we can officially DEMAND you save the date because we now know the Flannel Fest lineup and it rules.

On Saturday, October 21 between the hours of 12-10 p.m., the parking lot outside of Boone & Crockett and The Cooperage will be alive with autumnal activity. There will be tasty food available from Taco Moto, Dooby Dogs, Flour Girl & Flame, Tots On The Street, Lumpia City, Ay Chihuahua Coffee, and BB Cakes. You can browse goods from local vendors like Cival Collective, Clover MKE, Canni Hemp Co., The Plate Collective, El Serpientio Jewelry, Jackalope Milk, and Paloma Wilder Bonded Bar.

Beverage-wise, Boone & Crockett will be open inside and will be serving its full selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. Outside, beer from New Glarus, Hinterland, and Third Space will be available, along with specialty hot cocktails from Teremana Tequila and Jack Daniels Whiskey. White Claw—the presenting partner—will also be on hand with new products for guests to sample and purchase. A portion of sales from the beer tent will benefit Courage MKE.

And what would a festival be without music? We won’t have to find out because Boone & Crockett has assembled quite the lineup. WMSE’s Boogie Bang Gang will kick things off before giving way to emcee Shle Berry, who will introduce the acts performing on two different stages over the course of the flannel-focused festivities. Here’s the lineup (listed from headliner to opener):

Main Stage (Presented by White Claw)

Sunflower Bean
REYNA
NilexNile
Shoobie
Twan Mack and Swadetracks

Folk Stage (Presented by Jack Daniels and Teremana Tequila)

The Hallelujah Ward
Ben Mulwana
Arum Rae
Next Paperback Hero

And if you want to get the fun started a night early, The Cooperage will host a Flannel Fest Pre-Party on Friday, October 20 that features The Keystones, Alley Eyes, Social Cig, and Tigera. More info and tickets can be found HERE.

The event is family-friendly and free to attend. Clear your calendar and stock up on some flannel because this is going to be fun.
