Summerfest is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and nothing says “Big Gig” quite like going big on the bookings. For example: Today, Summerfest has announced that insanely popular, love-em-or-hate-em duo The Chainsmokers will headline the newly minted American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Tuesday, July 4. Per Summerfest:
Tickets for The Chainsmokers go on sale Friday, March 31 at 10:00 am CDT. Tickets can be purchased at the Summerfest Box Office in person and by phone at 1.414.273.2600, Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, Walmart stores, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at 1.800.745.3000 (live Ticketmaster Agent) or 1.866.448.7849 (“Ticketmaster Express” automated phone line). Patrons may also utilize “ticketfast” at Ticketmaster.com to print barcoded concert tickets from home. Convenience fees may be added to all purchases.
A Chainsmokers artist presale will be available starting Tuesday, March 28 at 10:00 am – Thursday, March 30 at 10:00 pm CDT.
Summerfest fans get access to presales before tickets go on sale to the general public when they subscribe to receive Summerfest News email alerts at Summerfest.com, “Like” Summerfest on Facebook or follow Summerfest on Twitter. The Chainsmokers Summerfest presale will run Thursday, March 30 from 10:00 am – 10:00 pm CDT or until presale inventory has been exhausted.
Previously announced amphitheater headliners include Red Hot Chili Peppers (June 28), Luke Bryan and Brothers Osborne (June 29), Zac Brown Band (July 1), Pink (July 2), and Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers and Chris Stapleton (July 5-6).
