As we wait to see how Milwaukee-born drag queen Trixie Mattel fares in the finals of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season 3 tonight, Chicago Magazine has thankfully saw fit to satisfy your hunger for Midwestern drag queens with a new video.
The publication brought Chicago’s Trannika Rex and Milwaukee’s own Jaymes Mansfield—who some of you might recall as a contestant from the ninth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race—to Bar Cargo in the Windy City to try a $1,000 white truffle pizza. More accurately, it’s a $500 pizza that’s “paired with” two bottles of $250 Dom Perignon, but who’s keeping count? It’s decadent as fuck.
Both queens take down a slice of “the Taylor Swift of pizzas” and some Dom, then ask for to-go containers. We want that pizza. We want that life.
