In case you missed the news, The Vanguard announced it will be spending a Halloween-adjacent night dressed up as “Whooterz.” The one-night pop-up event is the latest installment of the Bay View bar and restaurant’s annual holiday tradition. Previous iterations have found sausage joint temporarily taking the form of a Chinese restaurant, a seafood shack, a Seinfeld tribute bar, and an ’80s era comedy club, a honky tonk saloon, and more.

Yes, from 5 p.m. to close on Thursday, October 30 (that’s today!), the beloved sausage establishment will temporarily operate as Whooterz—a lighthearted nod to the chauvinistic chain restaurant that’s currently closing locations throughout the country left and right. Last week, Vanguard co-owner Jim McCann told us the pop-up’s menu will offer “a Vanguard spin on Hooters fare.” We now know exactly what’s on that menu.

Tonight (and tonight only, which supplies last), patrons can enjoy sports bar-suited delicacies like Whooterz Wings, nachos, curly fries, chips and queso, new themed sausages, and an array of so-called “Whooterz Dessert Shooters.” There will also be “Whooterz Tofu” and a vegan version of one sausage offered. Check out the full menu below and make your way to The Vangu… we mean “Whooterz” starting at 5 p.m. tonight!
