Crafty Cow wears a lot of hats. It’s the premier place to grab a Juicy Lucy Burger in the region. It also makes arguably the best Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich in metro Milwaukee. More recently, the local restaurant chain—which has locations in Oconomowoc, Wauwatosa, and Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood—had delved into hosting live music and drag shows. Beginning next week, Crafty Cow is also taking sizable steps to make its restaurants into full-fledged sports bars.

The newfound commitment to sports-related programming will start on January 3, when all three Crafty Cow locations will go all-in on some Milwaukee Bucks promotions. The fun will actually begin before the games, as pints of Michelob Ultra will be only 50 cents and Third Space Happy Place pints will be just $3 starting 30 minutes before tip off. Once the games begin, the prices will be $2.50 and $5 respectively. There will also be domestic and craft beer bucket specials available during games.

In addition to the beer specials, there will be events occurring at each Crafty Cow during select games. Some events include a meat raffle (January 11), a Bucks ’90s throwback night (February 16), and “Halftime Game Days” with chances to win prizes like gift cards and T-shirts (March 11). Other events will be added throughout the season. A special Game Day Menu with sports-suited appetizers and sandwiches will be available during every Bucks game.

“The whole idea behind this program is to revamp Bay View, North Ave in Tosa, and our Oconomowoc store to a proper sports bar and grow our brand to fit a need in each of those neighborhoods,” Crafty Cow co-owner Devin Eichler says. “Our view has been we have the great food for game days and want to round it out with great programming that we can expand upon for other things throughout each season based on each sport and what our customers and regulars are looking for.”

Eichler also tells us he’s increased the number of televisions at the restaurants in recent months, with even more to be added in the weeks to come. Once they begin on January 3, the Bucks promotions will continue for the rest of the regular season and will extend through the playoffs. If you’re looking for a place to watch Milwaukee’s quest for another title, it looks like Crafty Cow has you covered.
