On Saturday, May 23, Milwaukee Record and Busby’s took over Morgan Park once again and brought a second-year spring festival back to the one-acre triangle at the edge of the Bay View and Fernwood neighborhoods. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the second annual Morgan Park Picnic featured live music and a yoga class, area retailers and organizations, local beer and food purveyors, and fun for the whole family.
We’re pleased to report the 2026 Picnic was an all-around great day. Thanks to the THOUSANDS of folks who attended (including someone we’re 95% sure was Badgers basketball great Sam Dekker), to all the entertainers and stage crew, to the vendors and volunteers, to the sponsors, to fellow organizers (Rob Zellermayer, Foga Zellermayer, and Nickie Rouleau), and to everyone else who helped make this year’s Morgan Park Picnic a success. It was an incredible time.
